Martin is a treasure-hungry widower who drowns his sorrows with work and, more commonly, any whiskey he can get his hands on. This proves to be a problem when he gets absurdly drunk and often takes his pent-up anger out on his children. However, that's only the case when he's even around his family to begin with. He spends most of his time up in the mountains, panning and mining for any gold he can find.
Martin is presently a neglectful father, as well as an abusive one, but things never always used to be this way, as he was once a husband to a beautiful wife and mother who loved her children. However, she passed away due to an illness, leaving him with the unbearable pain of loss.
Appearance
Martin has gray hair and moustache, and black eyes. He wears a brown hat with stitches on the brim, a black collared shirt with green pants with suspenders. He also wears a belt along with black rubber boots.
