Ballast is Ogura's trusty steed. Just because Ogura is an outlaw doesn't mean he's a bad horse owner. Occasionally, Ballast gets spoiled when no one is watching. Even if that's so, I frankly feel bad for the horse since he gets roped into all of Ogura's stupid shenanigans. Due to being spoiled, Ballast will obey Ogura at almost any command. Key word being "almost", since Ballast's survival instinct is on key.
Appearance
Ballast has a brown coat with a brown mane and tail. He also has a white star and strip on his forehead, and brown hooves.
He is also decked with a stone-blue saddle blanket and a black leather saddle, reins, and bridle with silver buttons.
In The Star of Sand Ocean
Ballast's debut comes in the Prologue, where Muga brings him along as Ogura's getaway horse. In good fashion, Ballast gets him away from the lawmen chasing them.
